Privacy Policy:
The following represents Tanamera (referred to as “us,” “we,” and “our”) policy with regard to information collected from visitors to our Web site. As a fundamental rule, we do not collect any personal information from visitors to our Web site unless that information is voluntarily supplied by the visitor. Personal information is defined as information such as your name, address, phone number(s), or email address.

We will only have personal information about you if you decide to provide it to us. In order to improve the content and usefulness of our Web site, we may employ the use of “cookies” (explained in more detail below) to track non-personal, non-identifying information about visitors to our Web site.

The primary purpose of this Web site is to provide information about our products and services, to allow visitors to request further information, and to provide warranty services to our homeowners. There are several areas within the Web site where you may voluntarily provide information about yourself, such as online and direct mail information request form. The following describes how that voluntary information is used, who has access to the information, and security measures in place to protect that information.

Providing information to us:
Our Website provides visitors with several online forms which the visitor can use to request information about the company or a specific development. In order for us to respond to your request, we do ask you for certain personal information on the online form. The use of these online forms is completely voluntary. Visitors to the Web site may navigate the entire Web site without using any of these features or providing any information.

How information is used:
If you choose to identify yourself by filling out one of the online forms, the information you send is maintained by us so that we can respond to your question or inquiry. Any information sent to us is not shared with anyone outside of our company and its affiliates, except those companies hired by us to process your request. These companies are bound by contract to adhere to this privacy policy with regard to your personal information.

Links:
This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we, [Tanamera], are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.

Surveys & Contests:
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code). Contact information will be used [shared with the contest [survey] sponsors] to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site, or our business products and services offerings. Users’ personally identifiable information is not shared with third parties unless we give prior notice and choice. Though we may use an intermediary to conduct these surveys or contests, they may not use users’ personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

Log Files:
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Providing information to us:
The only information we automatically collect and store during your visit to our Web site is non-personally identifiable information such as the location of your Internet service provider, the browser and type of machine you are using, the Web site that referred you to us, the pages you request and the date and time of those requests. The information is complied and cannot be attributed to your individual computer.

Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. If you’d prefer, you can set yours to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. However, it is possible that some parts of the Web site will not function properly if you do so.

We purchase third party marketing data and add it to our existing user database to better target our advertising and provide pertinent offers we think our users would be interested in. We use this information to enhance or overlay the ‘profile’ of individual users. This aggregate marketing data is therefore tied to the users’ personally identifiable information.

Children:
Throughout our Web site, we do not request or knowingly accept any personal information from children under the age of 13.

Storage of Information and Security:
Information sent to us is stored as a secured log file housed on the Web, and sent via email to those persons involved in responding to your question, inquiry. This Web site takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry – SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when users are just ‘surfing’.

You should know that information sent over the Internet, whether by email or by using one of our online forms, is not necessarily secure against interception. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for interception of your information. If your communication involves sensitive information, you should send it by fax or postal mail to the number and to the appropriate address posted on this Web site.

Legal Disclaimer:
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Changes to this privacy policy – questions:
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

If, however, we are going to use users’ personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. However, if users have opted out of all communication with the site, or deleted/deactivated their account, then they will not be contacted, nor will their personal information be used in this new manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our Web site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email users, who have opted to receive communications from us, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.

We reserve the right to modify our Privacy Policy. Please revisit our Privacy Policy from time to time for changes and updates. If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, please contact us at: 775850-4200.

This can usually be by sending e-mail to SUBSCRIPTIONS@TANAMERA.COM.
